RE: Are you blessed with a healthy body? How can you give some of that to others? Donate ...
I used to donate blood every 3 months before covid. My first time was I had to beg that I am healthy enough to donate blood amid the fact that I am asthmatic. I told the incharge that I dance and I go to gym and I will surely not faint. Luckily, they allowed me and from then on, I start donating blood. It's the least that I can do. My grandma had an operation before and we needed blood. My blood donor card helped us to get 3 bags asap.
What a cool story! Thanks for sharing, I give you a big upvote for that 👍🏻 I know a couple of people who would love to but because they don't weight 50kg or lived in the wrong country they aren't allowed to here in Germany. I'm impressed how you stocked to it and obviously you are fitter and can take more than people think 😜 keep it up, are you allowed to donate again? Even in covid times they need the blood, so here you didn't have to take a break.
That's true! I also experienced that. For my whole college days, I can't donate because my weight was below 50. Super skinny 🤭😅🙈. Yes, I'm still allowed but the fight is still ongoing here in Ph and the Red Cross' (org where we donate) location is far from my apartment. I had to commute twice. I haven't go out since the quarantine started for the reason that I don't have a quarantine pass and borrowing is not allowed, and also my mom would freak out because asthmatic are very prone to the virus. 😒 Tsk. Before, I was working in a university where red cross would go there every Friday. So it was really convenient. I would love to share with you my first experience. Will look for the video and post it here. 😁 I almost freaked out because I didn't know the needle was big. 😂😂🙈🙈
