My day as a creative in Media

I have always seen myself as creative because I know I possess many talents. I can plait hair, I can sew clothes, I can make bags, and I can give a haircut. I certainly know that I am a girl with lots of talents, and I love to show them. But never have I thought that I could get into the Media space. Yeah, I studied English and Literature, what was I expecting?😂 The truth is that I didn't think deeply when I applied for that course. I don't regret studying English, because it's part of what is building my life today, but I have no idea if I will get into the Media space even with that course.

In school, I did a lot of volunteering. I interned as Executive Assistant, content writer, Social Media Manager, Community Manager... I was hungry for experience, to give and gain value. Those experiences are what got me this job after school. Sincerely, I love this job... It is so fun! It can be kind of tasking sometimes, but it helps build my creativity, so I like that.

My job is hybrid; I go to the office only on Mondays and Tuesdays. For the rest of the days, I work from home. I love that so much because I don't like to leave my house unless it is necessary. I plan the contents of the week over the weekend, and when I get to work, I discuss the plan with my colleagues, and we carry it out. I love working with those people; they make the work much easier.

My favorite Content Creator and I

I don't know how long I will be working with the brand, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to be where I am right now. I thought content creation was easy, jokes on me.😂 Getting content ideas is not the issue. The execution is the problem, because it must pass the message we are trying to pass across to our audience.
If the outcome of the shoot does not give what it should give, the content will be a waste. Content creation requires strategic thinking and execution.

Going home after work

I don't know if it is just me, but I always look tired after work and on my way home. I don't like the journey back home because Lagos traffic after the close of Business is very crazy. A journey of 2hours can take 3 to 5hours or even more because people have closed from work and they are going back to their various destinations. So the crowd causes traffic, and it makes me feel more tired.

Thanks for reading through.
