Rehearsing "A Million Dreams" with My Pupils for the End-of-Term Party

‎As part of our preparation for the forthcoming End-of-Term Party and Graduation Ceremony at Winners Vineyard Academy, I had a rehearsal session with my pupils. The song we are preparing is A Million Dreams by Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, and Ziv Zaifman.

‎None of the pupils was familiar with the song, so I first introduced it to them. To make learning easier, I played the song on my laptop and connected it to a flat-screen television. The lyrics were boldly displayed on the screen so that every pupil could read and sing along without difficulty.

‎At the beginning, the pupils listened carefully to the song to understand the tune and words. After that, we started practising together. Since it was their first time hearing the song, some parts were a little challenging for them. However, they remained focused and eager to learn.

‎The pupils watched the television closely and followed the lyrics as the song played. We repeated the song several times, and with each repetition, they became more confident. It was encouraging to see them improve gradually and sing more comfortably.
‎The atmosphere during the rehearsal was lively and enjoyable. The pupils showed interest and participated actively throughout the session. Music is a good way to help children express themselves, and they were happy to be part of the practice.
‎By the end of the rehearsal, the pupils had made good progress. Although they still need more practice before the main event, they have already learned a large part of the song. I am proud of their effort and willingness to learn something new.

‎I look forward to seeing them perform A Million Dreams during the End-of-Term Party and Graduation Ceremony. I believe their presentation will make the occasion more colourful and memorable
