"SC-S31/W1-Movie Magic | Movie About Choices (The Flash)

Hello, My dear Steeman friends, I am here to partake in SC-S31/W1-Movie Magic| Movies by @ruthjoe with a task to focus us on movies about our own decision-making.

Watch any movie of your choice from the movie respond to the following:
I would discuss about "The Flash" and its hero Barry Allen.
I am not a regular movie goer but when I hear something about outstandingly done movies, I can't stop myself from watching it. And when I watch a movie I try to think about their logic, discussing them, and using them as an opportunity for finding pros or cons or what an actor or director could have done differently.
I would like to bring "The Flash (2023), which drew my attention because of star Ezra Miller’s legal troubles to keep the film moving forward.First of all I would give you the main theme of The Flash and its points:
The Flash follows Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), who uses his super speed to go back in time to save his mother from being murdered and his father’s wrongful imprisonment.
Barry finds out he can go backward in time and decides to change the past. To save his mother, he creates another timeline where his life and his world were altogether different.
In this altered world, there were no active heroes to defend Earth, and Zod’s invasion begins. It surprised me why Barry teamed up with a younger version of himself if he went with an older Batman and Supergirl. To stop Zod, he could keep himself the way he was.
If Barry could learn that some incidents can't be changed but bring unwanted consequences as he accepts it in the end and then tries to restore that timeline. You see the final result leaves the reality shifted in surprising ways.
In a nutshell, Barry uses his super speed to change the past, but in trying to save his family he creates a world without super heroes, or begins a race for his own life to save his own future.
The film's main message is that in attempting to change the past one gets involved in unintended consequences. Ultimately, Barry come to terms with his loss, his responsibilities, and the true nature of time.

I felt the point that needed to be changed was when Barry Allen used his super speed to travel back in time to save his mother. That choice created an alternate reality where superheroes missing and General Zod attacked the Earth. What single decision in the movie changed everything?
I feel Barry’s choice could be emotionally understandable, but it shows how one personal act can create trouble for the entire world. I felt film’s point is that grief-driven fixes can create bigger disasters.
The result, he finds himself trapped in a world where the status of superheroes is shifted as he finds himself in a dangerous situation. He not only confront his own younger self but, a Supergirl from another universe, and a formidable adversary.

If I were in Berry's shoes, I would have kept my love for my mother intact, but changed the method. Instead of altering the past, I’d have him seek justice in the present with more lawful method. What would you have done differently?
I would expose the truth about my mother's death, clear my father’s name, and used my powers to protect people without going into the history. That would preserve the emotional feature while avoiding a timeline collapse.
By the way, if he still wanted to test time travel, he should have done it with certain safeguards and expert guidance, not out of grief. He should have known the bigger lesson in life is that some pain cannot be erased.
To be frank, everything need to be carried and transformed into a purpose and for a purpose. That approach would make Barry wiser, the story stronger, and the end result would be less destructive.

I felt Berry was okay and understandable because he acted out of love and grief, but the choice ignored the huge risk to other lives, so the personal gain did not justify the damage.Did the character’s choice feel right or wrong to you? And why?
I felt Barry's timeline choice affected his relationship with Batman was a mistake, In fact, his timeline change weakened trust and turned a potential alliance with Batman into chaos, which hurt both strategy and emotional balance.
Like most down to earth people I felt we work best when events are controlled and not rewritten. I am not questioning Barry’s choice but we should be a little more careful and realistic when we undertake such dangerous missions that makes life stable or unstable.
