NRC, Another Successful Ponzi Scheme in Nigeria.

The purpose for this post is strictly educational and for sensitization.

Just yesterday my facebook feed was flooded with all manner of content and videos of one "successful ponzi scheme" that has just disappeared with people's hard earned money. It's called NRC. I saw in a video where some angry set of people broke into an office belonging to the person that I believed introduced them into the system.

These people carted away everything that looked valuable in there which includes furniture and fittings and they left angrily, I can't even tell the fate of the person whose office was broken into, if he or she is still alive and kicking only God knows because the level of anger I saw could melt stone. This is people's hard earned money we are talking about here.

Seriously I really feel for everyone who got scammed, I know you want me not to sympathize with them because of some obvious reason but then I have to. Many people fell into this thing hoping they could make some money to cater for their bills, some fell into it thinking it was a good venture while a lot of people went in with their eyes wide open, knowing it was a ponzi scheme.

Dear Nigerians, when will we learn and understand that there is no free & easy money anywhere, you've got to work. Successful ventures around the world do either of these two things, provide service or produce products that are essential and valuable.

Apart from these two things, you might want to thread carefully when you see any other business model especially the ones that promise quick turnover or unrealistic ROI over a short period of time. Such a venture is likely to be a ponzi scheme. The unfortunate part is that many of the people patronizing ventures like these do not do their research, is that not a form of laziness?

Yet we want to reap like a hard or smart working person, No nah, its not done, what does it take to look into the business model and understand it before making decisions. In making you research you get to know if it's regulated or backed by the government since it's a venture you wants to put your hard earned money.

Many of those crying today that NRC disappeared with their money are those who never researched about the business nor calculate the risk involved in giving out their hard earned money to anonymous folks who hide behind the screen to dupe people.

Oh I hope someone is not about to fault me now, I just stated the obvious, if you believe your money is not controlled by some anonymous folks, where then is the money, I mean not the one you gave to that uncle or aunty or friend who brought you in, the real money is not with them obviously, the real money is with those you don't even know.

Make it make sense to me guys, where did the money disappear to, how come it disappeared and can't be traced even at the point when one is supposed to be getting returns , it didn't disappear when you deposited or registered but disappeared at a very critical time of reaping for many.

Friends, NRC like every other ponzi scheme is a psychological game, those on the other end of the screen, I mean the developers are smarter than those who are patronizing them. They have the bait and hook, which inevitably catches their naive and unsuspecting victims, obviously overwhelmed by greed.

I know this truth I'm about to spill is a bitter pill and hard to swallow but I will spill it anyway. Ponzi Scheme thrives successfully on the greed of people. The more greedy people get, the more successful these schemes become. When people stop being greedy and follow the normal route of productivity, service and hard work/smart work if you will, schemes like these will die a natural death.

The reason is not farfetched, because everybody now understands that there is no quick money anyways, even Steemit would have you work for what you get here. If you know what it takes to make a good and quality post then you will understand that making online money isn't that easy.

Say No!... to Get Rich Quick Syndrome. Choose to rather build sustainable wealth. My heart goes out to everyone affected please know that you're loved and please stay strong for us, this too will pass, but I hope you've learned your lessons.
