I have watched a lot of movies, funny, emotional, action, horror, crime and many others. But this particular one never left my mind, the name of this movie is "Blended". It's a movie that has some mix reaction, the family drama, emotional, lessons and family drama. At first, I thought it was just a funny movie but at the end, Blended carried the messages about family, parenting, patience, and love.

The movie tells the story of two single parents, Jim and Lauren, who had a terrible blind date experience. The two families, later surprisingly found themselves together on a family vacation trip to Africa with their children.

The both families were not so comfortable with each other at the beginning, because of their different personalities and lifestyles. Likewise the children, they also found it difficult to relate with one another.

As I continued the movie, I became emotionally connected to the story because both families gradually learned to bond regardless of their differences. The shows that family is not only through blood relationship but also understanding, support and love.

WHICH SCENE STILL STAYS IN YOUR MIND? WHY?

The movie is full of many unforgettable funny scenes but this one scene I can relate to was during the safari games, when the both parents were to take care of each others children. At first, everything was totally off, they couldn't get along so well, but gradually they got to cooperate with other.

The both parents are always arguing, the children don't get along, the thing is, nothing goes smoothly. Even to the point, all impressions were off, all that matters was survival based on the situation and the happiness & safety of the kids. That pressure slowly forces them to stop competing and start cooperating.

It shows how in reality families can be. It takes this one awkward moments, little efforts, misunderstanding before they could all blend together.

WHAT MESSAGE DID YOU CARRY FORWARD?

The movie Blended emphasizes on family importance, patience & second chances in relationships. At first, it was difficult for the both families to get along. But despite their personalities, past experiences and parenting struggles they all came to learn and understand each other during the trip in Africa. This shows that, building a relationship might not be easy in the beginning but can get better with time.

True love goes beyond attractions. Real love grows from sacrifice, communication, and accepting others with their flaws. Not only by the initial chemistry thing.
The both parents faced difficulties after separating from their partners, they learned the importance of supporting each other, which emotionally was helping the children heal. Children always need our attention, support, that emotional connection more than materialistic things.

Another thing here is comfort zone, I always tell my friends, if you want to discover more thereby challenging yourself, all you need is to step out of that comfort zone of yours. For instance, the family trip to Africa brought them together to interact, discover themselves and solve problems together. In reality, relationships grow not out of perfection but through shared experiences and patience.

In reality, we can relate the movie to situations where separated parents can reconnect through trips or family outings. This creates a space were both partners can see themselves more as one not just as people with past conflicts. During such trip, families can reconnect, understand, heal and children and spend quality time with both parents. In that way, like in Blended, unexpected shared moments can help separated families find peace, closure, or even a new kind of friendship.

I would happily recommend "Blended" to others because it's a movie that is entertaining, with funny scenes, emotional beyond this it also teaches the importance of family, relationship, parenting and healing.
