The date of Stayfit's 2nd anniversary was fixed by the organizers, of which Ngoenyi is the head coach. The time and date started counting down, and finally the long-awaited day came, and it's today, 2nd May 2026.
The story of how it started and the number of people joining every day made the fitness group an outstanding one. During this year's 2nd anniversary, they tagged it ***"Stay fit: a lifestyle, not a phase." Thereby encouraging people like me to take my fitness journey serious.Around 6:30 AM the weather changed, like it's going to rain, and I don't have an umbrella to move to the venue. I rushed and dressed up to be at the venue before the rain started. Immediately after I stopped from the bus, it started raining, and I had to run down to the venue. While waiting for the rain to subside, others joined despite the rain.The anniversary started with able medical personnel on the ground who happened to be one of us here on Steemit @steemnurse ,. As time was no longer on our side, we paused the check-up and went in for the exercise proper.I met lots of Steemians; it was like a reunion for us, and I can tell you the workout was interesting.
Entertainment was followed, and invited guests left while the host was still vibing to the music in the background.Today's exercise touched the whole body; we started with warm-ups, then stretches, and then the whole body. I felt the heat, and I sweat it out. In the afternoon, I rushed to a nearby market to buy things for the weekend. Since I don't have soup at home, I bought more soup ingredients, but I later cooked rice for everyone and kept other things for tomorrow.As the evening approached, we went to the shop to open for the day and received my goods from my customer, who brought some provisions for me to buy.It was a nice day after all; I'm happy I exercised my body today. I felt so relaxed and happy thanks to @ngoenyi, @benton3, @kidi40, @bossj23, and others for making today's event a successful one.
