Today I'm going to share about a movie that challenge society. Before writing on this movie I checked if anyone else talked about this movie already or not because I don't wanted to make a repeat entry and as a movie lover I watched many movies that challenge the society and bring positive changes.

Here in this movie when well educated, experienced teachers gave up to teach some students just because they are from uncivilized society, a teacher who was already fighting with her challenging hiccup issues. Indeed a good watch to me and it had good lesson and motivation for people in our society. Let's get start...

Hichki is a Bollywood movie that released on 2018 and the leading role "Naina Mathur" was played by very talented actress Rani Mukerji. Hichki is a hindi word and it means hiccup and she was suffering from Tourette syndrome.

In the movie, she played an aspiring teacher who helped her students discover their potential, even when it meant challenging societal norms. She had Tourette syndrome issues that society consider as human's weakness and she turn this weakness to her biggest strength and that was something big about the movie.

What social issue did the movie highlight?

Here the social issue was about fighting against the system and establish the right of underprivileged children in our society, they also have potential and they need our support and care.

Here a support giver who already had a struggle against her Tourette syndrome but she was unstoppable even when society make fun, underestimate her for this weakness but Naina Mathur is strong to fight against all odds.

Did it change how you see this issue?

Naina's Tourette syndrome wasn't curable but her fight was not for having control over her hiccups, her fight was against that system that doesn't ensure the right of underprivileged children in our society even when they have potential to do something big for society and country.

She educates underprivileged children and helped them to find their potentials and talent. The issue gradually changed so far and at the end the outcome was positive. Those children were financially broken, spend maximum time doing child labour to support family and it's hard for them and their parents to afford better education.

Naina supported those underprivileged children for a time and her fight should inspired other teachers who doesn't even care about these kids and their future. It was challenging for her but she didn't gave up.

She convince the parents of those underprivileged children who can be something great in their future by having better education. She gone through many difficulties but she was determined to her goal and she made it for few children she met in her class.

How is this theme discussed this week relevant today?

Movies are not only story we see on screen, some movies inspired by real life stories and some topic like challenging society based stories are always relevant for all time. It definitely contribute to bring positive changes in human life, environment and society. So this theme of discussion for this week relevant, not only for today but also for all time. This kind of movie should be watched and learn from this can bring change in life and society too.
