SC-S33/W4-Rewrite a movie ending | Titanic (1997)
Sometimes movies are not only a visual story for entertainment, it can connect our emotions too. In real life we definitely expect a happy ending likewise we expect a happy ending of the movie too. A movie run max three hours and we audience not only watch it but also live it for that time.
Rewrite a movie ending sounds an interesting topic to me to discuss and there are many movies in my mind but the legendary one take place to be priority so here I come with the movie with a sad end and the end made teary many eyes of audiences. My friends and siblings often laughed at me because I cry seeing emotional scenes of movies even when I know that's not real. Anyways, let me talk about more on this awesome topic, keep scrolling...!!
Pick a movie with an ending you don't like?
I pick the world wide famous movie in history, Titanic(1997). As you all know this movie has a sad ending and I personally don't like sad ending of a movie that make me cry or emotional. Though a movie can get biggest hit by showing the death of lead role but here I've freedom to share my own concept or idea especially when I'm going to rewrite a historical hit movie.
Rewrite the ending in your own terms?
Titanic was the largest ship where a love story were highlighted. Jack and Rose two lead roles in this movie could have a happy ending. Jack shouldn't be died at the end of this movie and they could live a beautiful life with their kids. This movie should have a happy ending so here I'm going to rewrite the end part of this movie.
When Titanic was sinking and Jack was trying to save Rose's life, he tried to save his own life too. At the end Jack tried his best to reach the rescue team. Rescue team saved around 80% people of the ship or more. When they find a way to stay alive they also find a way to start a new life, a new family.
Jack as a male lead role of the movie become the hero who saved his love of life Rose and also their child in her womb. Enemies of Jack and Rose died when Titanic sank. At the beginning of their new life there was obstacles but they faced all the obstacles like brave and overcome the hardest time of life.
Explain why you think your own ending fits in better?
The happy ending of a movie fits better because death hurts even when it's on screen. I think my own ending fits the movie Titanic because the death of Jack was something unexpected end where only tears left. Women are strong but in real life if we imagine the life of Rose, we can feel how hard it could be.
Death is natural and realistic and the movie was focused on showing something real and practical but I still wanted the happy end of this legendary movie where Jack should be alive and their love story won't sink like the ship Titanic.
As an audience I was expecting a beautiful ending that didn't happen. So, I feel my own ending could save tears of many eyes of audiences. It would hit different but could be reason of smile of audiences who loves to watch the happy end of a movie.
I agree sincerely with you. I could remember how I cried non stop for day because of jack dies in tatanic. We eventually named our dog jack, just to keep his memories.
Thant movie was epic. After all the emotional drama I and my sister acted, I became ashamed of my self when I saw how that movie was acted😁
Inside a pool😒 they made me cry for nothing.
