Contest Result : Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 146: 24 Hours With 10 Million, How Will You Spend It?
Hello friends, the result for the just concluded accelerated contest is here, we are sorry it took us a while. We received quite a number of beautiful entries. You know, we enjoyed every bit of the entries.
We had a great time going through the entries for this contest. Contests like this only help you plan for opportunities, I believe up until the moment this contest was hosted, so many people do not really know what to do with 10 Million. Yet we pray day and night to come across money in this size.
If we wanted this contest to be more interested we would make the deadline 24 hours, making it more real like you had the cash with you to disburse. Trust me, we would see both the rational and irrational disbursement of this funds. Lols.
We can see from the entries that many people tilted towards investment and business first while some others flowed in the direction of getting basic needs first before any other thing. We would always be the product of our choices, if someone thinks investment is the way, then so be it and of course this is always encouraged but if other thinks basic needs & amenities like houses, clothing and food and cars for mobility is the very first, it's cool too but the question is, does it guarantee sustainability after the opportunity is gone?
Anyway I chose to stay in between, these basic needs are necessities but must not be prioritised if future returns and sustainability is your goal. A little percentage should go in there while a larger percentage should be channelled into what would guarantee future returns.
Y'all need to go through the beautiful entries as well. Trust me, we had a little difficulty picking the best three entries because you all did well, we were indeed in a state of dilemma but somehow we were able to come up with the top three after putting so many measures into consideration.
