I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest SLC-S31/W1-“Creative Interpretation| The Word (Invisible)” organized by @ninapanda . First of all I would like to congratulate @ninapanda on selecting as contest organiser in SLC-S31. Hopefully this season will be great. Let's move towards contest;

”Create a short story, poem, artwork, or reflection inspired by the word “Invisible.”

The image of the girl by the window perfectly captures the weight of being invisible within a crowd. I can write a story or poem on it so Here I'm presenting a poem and reflection inspired by that rainy stillness.

The Poem: The Glass Border

The city is like a picture with lots of yellow and grey colors,

a thousand people moving around in a busy and bright way.

Here behind the rain and the mist

I am the quiet one, the person who is hurting.

I watch the car lights flashing, like fires in the dark

but no one looks at me no one sees me.

I am like a voice in a big storm a footstep in the ocean

the more the world keeps moving the less it notices the girl by the window.

The window glass is cold on my forehead it is like a wall of light

keeping me away from the city at night keeping the girl by the window in the stillness.

It is a feeling to be invisible like wearing a big heavy coat

to be standing by the window but not really being there not really being seen.

Explain what “invisible” represents in your interpretation.

What "Invisible" Represents

The girl by the window represents The Great Disconnect.

It is the feeling of being there but not being seen,

of living in a world that is not really moving while everyone else is moving really fast.

The window is like a wall between the people who are watching and the people who are doing things

you can see what is happening but you cannot feel it you cannot feel the warmth of the world.

Describe the emotion connected to your piece.

The Emotion

The emotion is Submerged Melancholy.

It is not a sadness but a quiet and slow feeling,

like being underwater and watching people breathe watching the girl by the window.

It is a feeling of wanting to be connected to people. Also being tired of trying to be noticed

tired of trying to be seen.

If your interpretation had a color or sound, what would it be and why?

Color and Sound

• The Color: Steel Blue. This is the color of the sky when it is about to get dark

it is cold and it does not feel happy it feels like the window glass and the feeling of the girl by the window when she feels like she is disappearing.

• The Sound: Muffled Rainfall. It is not the sound of thunder but the quiet sound of rain falling,

like a big hug that keeps you alone it keeps you away, from other people

it makes you hear your own thoughts it makes the girl by the window hear her own thoughts.
