I would like to thank @ruthjoe for organizing a competition on a wonderful topic: Love Beyond Romance. The theme of this contest is Love beyond Romance - the first movie that comes to mind when I hear it is the timeless film 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan. Today, I will share my personal feelings and love for this amazing movie with everyone.

We do a lot of things for entertainment. When I come back tired after work, I want to watch something that gives peace to my mind. In my opinion, movies are not just entertainment; some movies change our philosophy of life. As per this week’s task, I am trying to portray everything in my own way.

My favourite movie is called 3 Idiots. The main theme or message of this movie is—“Don’t chase success, chase excellence; success will chase you.” It is basically the story of three friends from a famous engineering college in India - Rancho, Farhan, and Raju. The movie perfectly depicts the narrowness of our conventional education system and how we sacrifice our dreams due to social pressure.

Usually, when we think of love in movies, we think of the love between the hero and the heroine, but 3 Idiots shows us the love of selfless friendship. Although Peera has a love affair with Rancho, the tension and love throughout the three friends are stronger between the three friends. Love in this movie is revealed by being there like a shadow in each other's danger. In this movie, when Raju was in the hospital after trying to commit suicide, the way Rancho and Farhan tried their best to bring him back was the ultimate form of love, I think. Besides, Rancho, despite being talented himself, always encouraged the latent talents of his friends and helped them overcome their fears. Such selfless sacrifice and illusion are much deeper than romantic relationships.

In my opinion, the love of compassion and selfless friendship was the strongest in this movie. The way Rancho showed his friends the way, without any blood relation or personal interest, is rare. He tried to remove the lack of Raju's family and gave Farhan the courage to follow his dream path. This unwavering faith in each other and holding hands tightly during times of crisis was the main strength of the movie. I think that if there is such love between friends, it is possible to do a lot in life.

Yes, I think it is still very realistic. Even in this mechanical and competitive era, we have many friends or mentors among us who show us the way in difficult times. Many times, after family, our friends become our biggest emotional shelter. The world is beautiful because we still have compassion and compassion within us as humans. Although selfishness is increasing, examples of selfless friends are spread all around us. In this context, I am reminded of my very close friend Shamim. Because he constantly acts as a mentor to me.

3 Idiots taught me that love is not just about discipline or fulfilling expectations; love is about 'acceptance.' I learned that true love is not just about words but about being there for your loved one during difficult times and giving them courage and strength.

There are many emotional moments in this movie, but the one that touched me the most is when Farhan dares to tell his father that he doesn't want to be an engineer but a wildlife photographer. When Farhan says, "Dad, I may earn a little less money and drive a small car, but I will be very happy," it is in contrast to the father's strictness and his long-standing expectations for his son. In my opinion, this scene from the movie 3 Idiots touches the heart of every child. The tears in the father's eyes and the moment of finally accepting his son's dream made me very emotional. It shows that love for family is not just about following their instructions but also about understanding each other's desires.

For me, 3 Idiots is not just a movie; it is a life lesson. It reminds us that life is not just about the rat race but about walking together with loved ones. I hope you liked this demo of love beyond romance. I have seen this movie several times; I liked it. You can watch it if you want. You can watch this movie in different languages if you want.
