Movie Diaries: Favourite movie of all time

Some films don't just come to us as moving scenes on the silver screen; they silently take up space in our subconscious, like a mirror of some lost piece of life. Today, on the pages of this movie diary for the first week of Steemit Challenge Season 33, I have come to share one of the most beloved and emotional spaces of my life. Vikram Kumar's 2017 Telugu romantic-action masterpiece Hello' dubbed in Hindi as Taqdeer, touched my heart like millions of viewers. It is not just a two-hour fiction; for me, it is an epic of destiny, faith, and an absolute wait.

Two orphans with a shadowy childhood—Shunu and Priya. All they had was a strange affection for each other and the pure joy of being alive. But fate is very cruel. When Priya's family took her to another city, their innocent world was shattered. With a note of money given by Priya at the time of farewell and a familiar tune in their hearts, Shunu began an endless wait. That note of money was the only thread that would help them find each other.

A long 15 years passed. Shunu is now a young man who grew up in the love of a wealthy family named Avinash. But in a corner of his heart, even today, that childhood Priya is equally alive. Every day, he walks the busy city streets, hoping to hear that familiar tune in the crowd of every person. On the other hand, Priya is also looking for him, but no one knows the current name or appearance of each other. The entire story of the movie revolves around just one dramatic day. The day Priya was supposed to call, Avinash's mobile phone was stolen. The main story of the movie is about Avinash's breathless struggle to hold on to the only ray of hope in his life, the action on the road, and how the wheel of fate finally ties them together with that torn piece of note and the thread of memory. The movie reminds me again and again that true love is never lost; it just waits for the right time.

I think the movie Taqdeer has brought a huge change in my life and the depth of my thinking. In today’s artificial and fast-changing era, where human relationships are as fragile as glass and people easily forget each other, this movie has taught me a new purity of love.

But apart from the main story, the actors who played Avinash's father and mother in this movie have done an extraordinary job in my eyes. The way they raised Avinash, despite not being his own children, respecting his likes and dislikes, is a unique example. Especially when his mother sheds tears understanding Avinash's unspoken troubles, or when the father is anxious to find his son's lost love— I couldn't hold back my tears. I always admire their wonderful motherly and fatherly performances with all my heart.

The main idea of ​​the movie:

If someone is truly destined for you, then the entire universe will somehow or other bring you both together at one point

It is not just a movie dialogue, but in my opinion, it is an absolute truth of life. Whenever I face a difficult situation in real life, I think of Avinash's long 15-year wait and the unconditional love of his parents. For me, this movie is a source of strange mental strength, which strengthens my faith in relationships.

Every frame of the movie is perfect, but the scene that made my heart beat faster and the one that still brings tears to my eyes is the scene of the fainting and reunion of that tune at the metro station.

At the very end of the movie, Avinash and Priya are standing very close to each other, but neither of them can recognize each other. Just then, Priya starts humming that familiar tune from their childhood—the tune that Shunu used to play on the violin as a child. As soon as that tune floats in the air, the noise around Avinash seems to be silenced for a moment. The longing in his eyes, the turmoil in his chest, and the intense feeling of ending the accumulated pain of 15 years—the way actor Akhil Akkineni portrays it with just his eyes is impeccable. Without any long dialogues, just a familiar tune and a look in the eyes, it seems to me a magical creativity that such a huge explosion of emotions can be created. When they hugged each other, the background music of that moment made my hair stand on end. I think this is one of the best and most influential romantic scenes in the history of cinema.
