While reading this expression of your own life experience and feelings about the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, several things struck me. The sacrifice of fathers is actually so silent that we children often cannot fully understand it when we are young. Later, when we grow up or face our own struggles, we realize how much they have suffered behind the scenes to make our path easy. You have very simply highlighted the similarity between the child character in the movie and the bond of your own life and the selfless inspiration given by your father. In my opinion, the value of any good film lies in when it reminds us of some unseen aspect of our own life or hidden sense of gratitude.
