A trip to the durian orchard: July 3, 2026

Hi, everyone!!! How are you all doing? I hope you’re all doing well and that the Almighty continues to bless you with good health. Alhamdulillah, today I’m still in good health and still excited to say hello to all of you.

July 3, 2026

Today is Friday. I woke up as usual and immediately got to work on various tasks, from sweeping and cleaning my room to doing laundry. When noon arrived, I got ready to head to the mosque for Friday prayers.

Around 12:00, I had already taken a shower and was getting ready to head to the Blang Karieng mosque. Before leaving, I also had lunch so I wouldn’t be hungry during the service and so I could pray with greater devotion.

After lunch, I set off for the mosque. When I arrived at the mosque, I immediately performed wudu and then entered the mosque to pray. The prayer went smoothly.

After finishing my prayers, I went straight home. When I got home, I contacted a few friends who had told me they were going to the durian orchard in Buloh Blang Ara today.

Some of my friends had already been informed, except for one. So we stopped by his house to make sure he was coming or not. When we arrived at his house, it turned out he was asleep.

His parents immediately woke him up, and only then did he tell us to wait a moment. After that, we headed to Buloh Blang Ara.

The Trip to the Durian Orchard

The trip there was pretty exciting; after about an hour, we finally arrived at the durian orchard. There, we were greeted by our friend’s family, who were waiting for the durians to fall from the trees; some of the ones that had already fallen were being prepared for sale.

Right away, they gave us a few to eat right there.

After enjoying some durian right under the tree, we bought a few more and had them wrapped up to take home. Then we said our goodbyes and headed home.

We took the same route back, though a few of our friends stopped at a mosque to pray Asr. Then we went home and rested before getting back to our other activities.
