Mandela knew that it's impossible until it's done

I have not made any blog since I introduced myself. I must have forgotten and as I was scrolling through my browser tabs I realized I had created a Steemit account. I'll be taking it more seriously from now onwards.

I'll start with a blog of my thoughts because I have been pondering over something deeply.

It's a thing, someone gives up once the process becomes real and difficult, even if it’s still completely possible. Imagination is easy to have but when you have to put in actual action or skin in the game or the play you called, that's when the chickening out comes.

The reason people confuse feels impossible with actually impossible is because with most curious obstacles in life, even beyond high achievement, it is literally costing people more time than most obstacles.

Nelson Mandela spent 27 long years in a small, dim and dark animal cell. The world told him that apartheid was going to last forever, that it was involved in the culture and the only reason it’s big is because it’s standing in the way. Mandela just sat and still sat and never took the time to think about the idea of it being impossible. Then ironically, it was possible.

Even through all of the confusion of society, there is still one simple rational truth. All things will and forever remain impossible, until someone dares to go that one extra mile and that one extra mile alone will keep society on a self perpetuating course of ever increasing motivational inspiration. Just kidding, that’s not the exact quote of Mandela but it is still true and also motivational I think.

Every industry, every world changing movement, every world record that has ever been achieved, was all achieved the same way, it seemed impossible, and then it was done.

Avoid seeing discomfort as proof that something cannot be accomplished.

The word impossible is used too frequently. It is used as a shield to prevent people from even attempting things. It is a shield that protects them from failure. It protects them from the difficult process of discovering their ultimate potential.

So everyone on Steemit, don't let a feeling be the limit.
