The Diary Game: A Day of Gratitude and Family Connections - (23/04/2026)

Greetings to my wonderful Steemians, I hope you're all doing well and had a lovely day. I’m eager to share a brief overview of my fulfilling day, which was filled with gratitude, reflection, and quality family time.

My day started with a significant visit to the school where our church used to hold services. I had the honor of joining my Reverend to express our appreciation to the head teacher and school management. This visit was special as it was a chance to thank them for the years they allowed us to use a classroom as our worship space.

It brought back fond memories of our beginnings in that small classroom, which served as a nurturing environment for our church family through fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth. Although it was a temporary solution, it positively affected many lives. Now that we have established a permanent church site, it felt essential for us to return and express our heartfelt thanks for their support and generosity throughout the years.

The visit was warm and memorable. We shared our sincere gratitude with the head teacher, acknowledging the importance of their gesture to our ministry. It was a moment to reflect on how far we've come, from holding services in a classroom to having our own building. We left with grateful hearts.

In the afternoon, I returned home, refreshed, enjoyed lunch, and took some time to relax after the morning’s activities. Later that evening, my wife and I enjoyed a delightful outing together. We relished one of our favorite dishes called porridge plantain. The meal was delicious and satisfying, providing a serene environment for us to enjoy each other's company.

It was more than just dining out; it was a wonderful opportunity for bonding, relaxation, and gratitude for family. After our time together, we returned home feeling fulfilled, rounding off the evening with rest.

Overall, it was a day filled with appreciation, reflection, and family joy from acknowledging those who supported our church journey to savoring a lovely meal with my wife.
