The Diary Game:My Brother’s Cultural Day + Bible Study [16/06/2026]

Greetings everyone here on steemit and welcome to another diary session with @kingfavourite77. So today I want to be sharing on how my day went today.

Today started early. My brother had cultural day in his school and I followed him. Before we left the house, we took some pictures. He wore the clothes his teacher gave him. It was Igbo attire with a red cap. The clothes were a bit big for him, but he still looked nice. I helped him adjust the wrapper. He was posing like a small celebrity and we both laughed. I took about 10 pictures with my phone so we could keep the memory.

We got to the school around 10am. The place was already full of parents and students. All the children wore different tribal clothes. Some wore Yoruba, some Hausa, some Tiv, and others. My brother was looking for his classmates. When the parade started, he marched with his group. I stood on one side and cheered for him. The dances they did were interesting. Some children fell down but they laughed and continued. Cultural day really shows how rich our culture is.

After the school program ended around 2pm, I went to church for evening bible study. Today’s topic was about patience. The pastor taught well. As he was preaching, I took a few notes. He reminded us that no matter what is happening, God is always there.

At the bible study, the drummer did not come to church. The choir leader asked me if I could help play the drum. I laughed and said I am not a professional. But I still went to the drum set. I played a simple beat during praise and worship. My hands are not very fast, but people still danced. After the service, one sister told me I did well. I just smiled and thanked her.

I got home around 8pm. My body was tired but I felt happy inside. Thanks for sharing my day with me @kingfavourite77
