RE: POLL: Is Steemit what you imagined it would be?

For me, Steemit is a job; I dedicate time and effort to it, so a vote is a kind of payment for me.
You know I'm a sincere man, and I'll say this gently, but I'll say it: They're your votes, you decide what to do with them, and I decide what to do with mine.
If you create a poll, you expect responses; if not,¿ why create it? My answers are always honest, and they always will be.

I Feel you shouldn't feel entitled, you saying an upvote is like a payment for your hard work, honestly, it doesn't work that way, being a newbie and getting an upvote is by luck or because a person genuinely like your post. An upvote comes from people that connect with you through commenting on a post or by upvoting others, if people see you on their notification they recognize you.

We need true connections to get an upvote. From what I understand, steem curators work so hard to get higher SP, it's not that easy, some buy this steem. After all this stress you think they can just upvote you with nothing in return?

People do things for you to get something from you, it's GIVE and TAKE . I'm actually worried because I upvote people but on my profile it is written that my vote worth $0.00 .

If people see that you don't upvote others or comment on people's post , what is the need of upvoting you, if you can't GIVE.

If you are only here to RECEIVE , I'm sorry it will be a longggggggggggg journey

I wish you the best, I understand you take this as a job but you need to be open to interact with people and make friends so that when they see your post they will recognize you and upvote you as a friend

@wakeupkitty.pal you are absolutely right, you are one of those that inspired me to keep writing for myself, I once felt like to quit just the @lupega is feeling right now.
It's all good now 🤝
