RE: POLL: Is Steemit what you imagined it would be?

Hi, I recently joined Steem, but I don't have much experience like those who have been here for a while. However, I must say that it is not what I expected, but fingers crossed.

I thought it would be an easy way to make money as long as I write. I write primarily for fun, so I thought it would be something that would flow smoothly without any issues. And I would have made my first $20 on Steem in two weeks. But here I am still struggling to earn on STEEMIT.

At first, when I didn't earn on some of my posts, I felt like I couldn't write well or my post was not interesting or engaging. But along the line, I discovered that it's not always the type of posts you make. It's about the algorithm, and you will earn if you are lucky. This makes me discouraged, and I'm struggling with the zeal to keep writing and sharing posts.

I joined Steem to make money, support my dreams, and live comfortably with earnings from Steemit, but I haven't been able to achieve that yet. I know good things take time, but the delays are discouraging, and the joy you created in your head that you will get from here might actually die.
