Step 1: First, I took the potatoes in a clean bowl and washed them thoroughly with enough water so that there was no dust. Then, I cut the big potatoes in half from the middle. I took the clean potatoes along with the required amount of water in a bowl. Then I put them on the gas stove. The size of the potatoes helped me to boil them quickly. When the potatoes were completely boiled and soft, I drained the hot water and carefully peeled the potatoes. Finally, I mashed the potatoes with my hands so that there were no grains or hard parts in the mashed potatoes.

Step 2:First, I peeled and washed two onions thoroughly. Then, I cut them into small pieces.Next, I placed a clean pan on the stove over medium heat. When the pan was dry, I added the required amount of oil. First, I fried two dried red chilies, then added the chopped onions and fried them until they turned light golden brown.

Step 4:First, I took a quantity of gram flour and a little rice powder for extra crunch in a clean bowl. Then I added baking powder, salt, turmeric powder, and chili powder one by one. Once the dry ingredients were mixed, I made a thick and smooth paste by adding water little by little. This batter will create a nice coating on the potato chops, which will be very tasty and crispy to eat after frying.

Step 5:First, I took small pieces of the mashed potatoes and flattened them with the palm of my hand to make an attractive shape. Then I dipped the chops well in the gram flour paste I had prepared earlier and put a pan on the stove and let the required amount of oil heat up. When the oil was hot enough, I carefully dropped the chops into the oil. When one side of the chops was well fried, I carefully flipped them over so that the other side was also fried evenly. While frying, I fried the chops one by one, so that one did not stick to the other and there was no fear of breaking. As a result of frying them carefully, the chops turned out to be crispy and perfect.

Finally, when the chops were nicely golden brown on both sides and crispy, I carefully removed them one by one from the pan. I arranged the chops on a beautiful glass plate. The wonderful aroma and the amazing appearance of the hot crispy potato chops made my mouth water. Now my delicious homemade potato chops were ready to be served and enjoyed.
