The Diary Game: Hospital Stress And My Roommate's Sweet Surprise(22-04-2026)

Hello everyone, trust you're good? This morning, I woke up immediately my alarm rang by 6am and began to prepare for the day. I had made plans of the things I needed to get done today and the first was to visit the hospital before going to my friend's shop for a visit and returning home to attend to my students. I swept and washed the plates at home before taking my bath and got dressed to leave the house, I took selfies before leaving the house so I'd know what I looked like while heading to the hospital.

My roommate was still sleeping and because I know how terrible she was when she's deeply asleep, I had to wake up to come lock the door as I took my leave so she won't leave it open for a stranger to walk in and steal from us because our environment isn't really secured. She sluggishly stood up and locked the door behind me and I continued my journey, I got to the road and boarded a keke to the hospital and alighted at the gate, walked in and joined others who were waiting to see the doctor. It took long for the doctor to arrive and it was based on first come, first serve and I wasn't even among the first ten.

I left the hospital by 2pm after I was attended to, by then I had began to see stars because of how hungry I was so while heading home, I stopped at the shop and bought some food items to prepare when I get home. I also bought biscuits and coke which I snacked on before getting home. As I got home, I began to complain of how hungry I was and my roommate surprised me with a plate of rice and stew. I couldn't thank her enough, I sat on the floor and finished the meal, thanked my roommate again before relaxing. I didn't want to immediately go into the kitchen to prepare food so I had to wait for the first to digest.

The small minute I needed for relaxing turned into hours as I fell asleep and woke up in the evening. I went outside to assist my roommate pack the clothes she washed inside as it was about to rain before going to kitchen to cook. I prepared a small melon soup with waterleaf and ate immediately it was ready, assisted my neighbor's kids with their home work before going inside to chat with my friends online. As I was texting my friends, I call same into my phone and when I picked, my supplier informed me that my order has been sent to the park and I would receive it tomorrow.

She also informed me that I'll get a call from the drivers so we'll discuss the weighbill charge and immediately she hanged up, the driver called though I didn't know that it was the driver at first. We discussed and I made payment though the charge was way too much than the previous one but I understood the cause. I remembered I had one thing left to do on my list for today and that's visiting my friend's shop so I called her and beg that she forgive me as I won't make it but won't fail to visit before the week runs out.
