RE: Comment contest: Comment affairs #45; One thing you appreciate more about your family as you grow older.

As time goes by, even as we grow older—perhaps in years, but not in spirit—we may be 50 or 60, but if we stay active, our age doesn’t show.

In my family, I deeply appreciate the values that were instilled in us over time and that we have passed on to the younger generations. But even more important is the support and unity among my siblings in caring for our mother. There are families where this isn’t seen, and it’s sad that they don’t look after that mother, when she gave everything for her children.

Although she has her savings and her pension, it’s also our duty to help her. When it comes to doctor’s appointments, medications, and tests, we all share the expenses, just as we all keep an eye on her since she’s quite advanced in age and has some health conditions that require care.

Gracias por la invitación mi querida colega 🎉 me encanta tú actitud, para ver la vida independiente de la edad.

Esos valores de familia, son los mejores que tiene. Apoyar a los padres es una gran bendición.
