SteemHop Session Was Better Than I Expected
Today after dinner I had some free time. I was not doing anything important so I opened SteemHop. I was actually thinking of playing only one or two rounds. But this game had other plans for me. My first round was over very quickly. I made a small mistake. I jumped too soon. For second I felt little disappointed but then I remember that almost every good session starts with few mistakes. So I did not stop. I press play button again.

This time I was more careful. I was not looking at score again and again. I only watch next obstacle. Somehow that made this game feel easier. My hands were moving naturally and I was enjoying every jump. One thing I notice today was that I was not getting nervous like before. Earlier when my score started getting higher I used to panic and make silly mistakes. Today I stayed calm. That is why I play much better. There was one moment I will remember.

I almost crashed. I really thought game was finished. But I escaped at last second. I do not know how it happened but it made me laugh. Those unexpected moments are probably best part of SteemHop. After few more rounds I checked my best score. It was not huge record. My rank was 34. It was better than my last session. That made me happy. I think we do not need big achievement every day. Small improvement is also something to celebrate.

Later I looked at the leaderboard. Some players have really unbelievable scores. I spent minute look at them. Instead of think I can not do that. I thought if I keep practicing one day I will also surprise myself. Reward system is also nice. It gives players another reason to keep trying. Of course rewards feel good but for me the real fun is seeing my own progress. That feeling is different. I also realized something while playing today. Whenever I rush I lost. Whenever I stayed patient I survived longer. It sounds like small thing but it change my game.

Sometimes we just need to slow down. I played for longer than I planned. Time passed very quickly. That usually happens when I really enjoy something. Before closing this game I played one final round. I told myself I would not care about result. I would simply enjoy it.

Funny enough that last round became one of my smoothest games today. I finished playing with a smile. No stress. No frustration.
- See you again in my next SteemHop adventure. I invite to invite my friends @nicely40 , @isabella20 and @abdullaht .
I also want to appreciate SteemHop team (@afzalqamar , @steemchiller and @stmpak.wit ) for creating this nice game for the Steem community. Games like SteemHope increase engagement and give users a reason to stay active.
