Cur8 Gaming journey update 🎮 Sky Tower is not easy

in Cur88 days ago

At this point, my hands are literally tired from overplaying. I played the Sky Tower so many times that I've lost count.

I did do a recording so I'll go back to it to check it out and see just how many times I played it. I'm not joking when I say my fingers are almost hurting.

So at least I was at 9th Position before I started and now I'm 5th place, so it really was worth the hassle.

Why Did I Do That ❔

The reason I wanted to play and I have to add that I played to a point where I even unintentionally moved to the next level, I got a level upgrade.

Back to my reason.

I've seen people with really high scores and I wanted to find out, is it really their skill sets or just that they got lucky.

After that number of plays, correct me if I'm wrong but it's a bit of both.

One thing I've noticed is a make or break part of winning the Sky Tower game is that if you don't get combos and sustain the combo at the later parts of the play, you won't get high results.

For instance, I could have combos from the very beginning, I literally went to 27x combos but I still didn't cross 100 blocks because I couldn't keep getting combos at the later part, that is when I was getting close to 70 plus blocks already stacked.

That's one thing I realized.

Another thing is that if you don't have steady hands and your eyes fixed on the screen throughout then you risk making more mistakes to cut your streak short.

I also feel it's a bit of luck. There were times when I was very focused, almost squeezing my eyes, and I got less than times when I was relaxed and not even bothered about how many blocks I make in the end. So that's the luck part of the game.

However I'll emphasize this. Luck plays 20 percent and skill and steadiness is 80 percent of the chance of success. If you don't know exactly when to tap the screen you'll definitely not make high blocks.

I tried relying on rhythm but that can't really be trusted in this game and maybe someone might say otherwise. The reason I say that is because the blocks keep changing speed and so if you keep one rhythm of tapping, you're bound to miss with the combo. The combo does require rhythm but since speed will change, you'll lose at some point.

Overall it's been fun and a bit of pain for my fingers, I even laughed at myself for trying that hard.

My highest score after all that is 117 and I'm just admiring those that made more blocks than me. I'll try to get higher scores before the end of the week but so far so good.

I wish all other players the best of luck.

I also enjoy Cur8 Games' games. My favorite is Sky Tower. As of this writing, I'm ranked 20th. I see you're ranked fifth. I've never gotten more than 83 points so far... getting to 100 seems impossible.
