Played This Random Game… and Realized I Have Zero Patience
I downloaded Cur8 Games for no real reason. Just bored. It was around 3 AM, nothing else to do, so I opened it and started playing.
First few rounds? Honestly bad.
I was just tapping like crazy. Shooting everywhere, missing targets, dying quickly. My score stayed around 1000–1100. Nothing impressive. I even thought, “This game is kinda useless.”
But then I kept playing.
And slowly I noticed something I didn’t like…
I have no patience.
Every time things got a little intense, I started panicking. I would move randomly, press fire non-stop, and end up losing in seconds. It wasn’t the game — it was me.
When I tried to slow down a bit, just a little, things changed. I started surviving longer. Not like some pro player, but better than before. The difference was simple: I stopped rushing.
That hit me harder than I expected.
Because it’s not just in the game. I do the same in real life too. I rush decisions. I get frustrated quickly. I want fast results. And when things don’t go my way, I mess them up even more.
The game just showed it clearly.
Another thing — I realized I get distracted very easily. One second I’m focused, next second my attention is gone, and boom… game over. It’s funny how one small distraction can ruin the whole run.
Sounds familiar, right?
Also, improvement is slow. Really slow.
I didn’t suddenly get a high score. Some rounds were even worse than before. But there were small improvements. Like lasting a few seconds longer, hitting more targets, staying calm for a bit.
Not exciting… but real.
And I think that’s the part we all struggle with — doing boring, small improvements without quitting.
I’m still not good at this game. My score is still average. But now I play a bit more carefully. Still make mistakes, still lose… but at least I understand why.
It’s weird how a simple game can show you your own habits so clearly.
Anyway… that was my 3 AM realization.
Nothing deep. Just honest.
