"Ehiyaganj Eidgah Ground"
What is the name of the place, community, and where is it located? Share the address information of the place also.
The place I visited is Ehiyaganj Eidgah Ground. It is a very important place for the Muslim community because the Eid prayers are held here. It is located in the Rampura area of Ward No. 4 under Parbatipur Municipality, Dinajpur, Bangladesh. You can easily reach this place from Parbatipur Railway Station or the bus terminal by taking a rickshaw, which usually costs around 30 BDT.

Why do you think this place you have visited is a need-to-know place in your community?
I believe everyone in our community should know about this place because it is where one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslims is celebrated. It is an important religious gathering place and a part of our local heritage. I also think everyone should help protect and care for this place.

What services or activities are the people in your community or visitors enjoying or having access to at the place?
Every year, Muslims gather here twice to perform the Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha prayers. A special congregation is organized, and thousands of people come together to pray. During Eid, many temporary shops are set up around the Eidgah, creating a festive atmosphere that feels like a small fair.

What do you find most attractive or interesting during your visit to the place?
The thing I liked most was the peaceful and shady environment. There are many large trees around the Eidgah Ground, which make the place cool and beautiful. I really enjoyed spending time there because the natural surroundings make the place even more attractive.

Share a brief story that you know about the place you have visited.
This Eidgah Ground has a long history and is one of the most well-known religious places in our area. It is the largest Eidgah Ground in our upazila. According to local history, people from 14 villages used to gather here to perform Eid prayers together. Although people from some villages no longer come today, this tradition is still remembered with pride. That is why many people still call it the "Choddho Jamaat Eidgah Ground" (Eidgah of Fourteen Congregations).

Based on your story and community lifestyle, would you recommend this place to visitors? Why or why not?
Yes, I would definitely recommend visiting this place. It is one of the most historic and culturally important religious sites in our town. It represents unity, tradition, and community spirit. I think everyone should visit this place at least once to experience its peaceful environment and learn about its rich history and cultural importance.

I guess the place is like Mecca, where Muslims go for pilgrimage and prayers. Having such a place in your community attracts people from afar, both at home and abroad. Also, such a place promotes economic activity in the community where it's located.
