After performing Fajr prayer at Masjid Oman Al-Makmur, we took a slow morning walk around the neighborhood in Banda Aceh to look for breakfast. The air was cool, the streets were still quiet, and the peaceful mood of the early morning made everything feel unhurried and calm.

Just a short distance from the mosque, we found a cake shop that immediately caught our attention: Mina Hamami Kue. From the outside, the display already looked inviting. Warm lights illuminated rows of traditional cakes and local snacks neatly arranged inside long glass cabinets.

Once inside, we were surprised by how complete the selection was. There were many kinds of Acehnese traditional cakes, modern snacks, nasi lupis, boxed rice, and various sweet and savory treats. Everything looked clean, fresh, and very tempting. My children were excited and had a hard time choosing because almost all the options looked delicious.

One thing that impressed me most was the price. The cakes are very affordable, starting from only IDR 1,000 per piece, with many options at IDR 2,000. They also sell wrapped rice for IDR 6,000, locally known in Acehnese as "bu prang" a simple, practical meal that is perfect for breakfast. Despite the low prices, the quality and presentation of the food are excellent.

Many items are neatly packed in clear plastic boxes, making them easy to carry away as takeaway breakfast or even as souvenirs. This is very convenient for visitors who want to enjoy their food elsewhere after buying.

Enjoying simple traditional cakes and bu prang with my children after Fajr created a beautiful, memorable morning moment. If you ever visit Masjid Oman and look for a complete, affordable, and authentic local breakfast nearby, Mina Hamami Kue is a highly recommended stop to start your day in the best way.

The service was friendly and quick. Even as more customers came in, the staff handled everything efficiently without long waiting times. The shop felt lively, warm, and filled with the pleasant aroma of freshly prepared food.
