Performing Ashar Prayer at Al Hidayah Mosque Lhoksukon

Assalamu'alaikum my stemian friends.

A few days ago, I went to Lhoksukon with my family. It was a simple family trip, but it gave us a beautiful spiritual moment. On the way, we stopped to perform Asr prayer at Masjid Al Hidayah Mns. Reudeup.
From the outside, the mosque looks calm and welcoming. The green dome stands beautifully against the blue sky. The design is simple but elegant. Surrounded by trees and open space, the atmosphere feels peaceful. It is the kind of mosque that makes your heart feel relaxed even before you enter.

Inside Masjid Al Hidayah Mns. Reudeup, the atmosphere feels spacious, bright, and peaceful. The mihrab becomes the main focal point with its beautiful arch and detailed geometric patterns in red, green, and gold tones, giving a strong spiritual presence at the front of the prayer hall. Beside it stands the wooden mimbar, elegantly carved and slightly elevated, adding a dignified touch to the space. The combination of decorative walls, tall pillars, and balanced color tones creates a harmonious interior that feels both traditional and welcoming.

Looking upward, the dome draws attention with its sky-blue color and soft cloud painting, creating the impression of an open sky above the worshippers. Natural light enters through the surrounding windows, making the mosque feel airy and alive.

Inside View

The glossy tiled floor reflects the pillars and arches beautifully, enhancing the sense of cleanliness and space. Altogether, the interior design offers not only visual beauty but also a calm and uplifting environment for prayer.

My children also felt comfortable there. They looked around with curiosity but remained calm. As a father, I feel happy when my family can pray together in a peaceful place like this.

Another good thing about this mosque is its cleanliness and organized layout. The ablution area is neat. The yard around the mosque is open and fresh. It is suitable not only for daily prayers but also for community gatherings.

Masjid Al Hidayah is not a very large mosque, but it has a warm and sincere atmosphere. It reflects the strong Islamic spirit of the local community in Lhoksukon.
Alhamdulillah, this short stop became one of the most meaningful moments of our trip. Sometimes, the best memories come from simple prayers in beautiful places.
