Searching Meeting Room at Petro Dolar cafe

Two week ago, I was looking for a suitable venue for our upcoming Aermi Gathering with the founder of Aermi, Miftah Armia. We needed a meeting room that could comfortably accommodate around 80 participants, so I visited Petro Dolar Cafe, located next to Pizza Hut in Lhokseumawe.

Although I have driven past this cafe countless times, this was actually my first visit. My first impression was very positive. The cafe has a modern and elegant design with a premium atmosphere that immediately catches your attention. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, creating a comfortable environment for casual meetings, business discussions, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee with friends.

One of the main reasons I came was to check their VIP meeting room. The room is fully air-conditioned, clean, and offers a professional atmosphere. It would be an excellent choice for private meetings, presentations, or small corporate events.
However, after discussing our event requirements with the staff, I learned that the VIP room is not available for larger seminar-style events. Since our gathering is expected to host approximately 80 participants, the room could not be rented for our purpose.

The cafe also offers another event space on the second floor. This area is much more spacious and could accommodate a larger audience. Unfortunately, it is an open-air venue rather than a fully enclosed room. Considering the weather, outdoor temperature, and the importance of providing maximum comfort for all participants during a full-day gathering, we decided that it was not the ideal choice for our event.

Modern stair style

Although we eventually chose not to book the venue, I genuinely enjoyed my first visit to Petro Dolar Cafe. The friendly staff, stylish interior, and relaxing atmosphere left a great impression on me. I believe it remains an excellent destination for coffee lovers, small business meetings, family gatherings, or anyone looking for a comfortable place to spend quality time.

Outdoor Space

One thing I immediately noticed was the variety of seating areas available. On the first floor, guests can choose between a comfortable fully air-conditioned indoor space or a relaxing outdoor seating area, making it suitable for different moods and occasions. Whether you want to work on your laptop, catch up with friends, or enjoy a quiet coffee break, the café offers a pleasant environment.

Parking Area

Another highlight of Petro Dolar Cafe is its rooftop area on the third floor. This open space offers a wonderful atmosphere for spending the late afternoon or evening. It is an ideal place to relax with friends, enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunset, and later admire the stars under the night sky. The rooftop creates a peaceful and refreshing ambiance that is perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

Although Petro Dolar Cafe was ultimately not the right venue for our event, my first visit left a very positive impression. The friendly staff, premium ambiance, modern aesthetics, and thoughtfully designed spaces make it one of the most attractive cafés in Lhokseumawe. I would definitely recommend it for casual hangouts, coffee dates, business meetings, family gatherings, or anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax. I may not return for a large seminar, but I will certainly come back to enjoy its atmosphere, great coffee, and stunning rooftop experience.
