Rain, Potholes, and the Daily Struggle
So it’s raining again today and the first thing I thought of was not “cool weather”... it was the roads.
The moment rain touches the roads here, potholes come alive like they’ve been waiting all year. What looked like a small hole yesterday is now a full swimming pool today.🤣
Trekking is a mission. Driving is a strategy game. You’re dodging water, dodging bikes, dodging other cars that are also dodging potholes 😁 My shoes didn’t even stand a chance. And the bike men? God bless them, they're the real MVPs navigating all of that.
But weirdly, I still like the rain. The sound on the roof, the cold air, how it forces everything to slow down. Even with the bad roads and the stress, there’s peace in it.
I’m just writing this out because if I don’t laugh about the potholes, I’ll cry 😂

How’s the rain treating your area?
In average it is one big mud party...no roads but aan or better mud. The place itself is slippery and I mainly wear farmboots which I hate and at times leave behind if Ibsibk deep.if you ask me it is better to stay inside or in bed with a book or take an extra nap. No slowing down if it rains, one still has shop up and do the job. The worst is rain + a strong cold wind.
This sounds so exhausting, we all deserve those cozy days but reality is reality, the weather won't pay our bills, so we still show up
