That is so heartwarming, I think these are the moments we remember, glimpses of appreciation as you said, that stick with you,
for me it was @offgridlife who recommended me, although he is crucial memeber in many ecosystems, he managed to tell me to go to steem, when i said it seems so hectic
he guided me through it,
and from there I got introduced to ccc community and the dreamsteem, for me there are no communities other than these on steem,

The good thing is that we always find nice people in life. Some people say they are very lonely, but they don't realize that there is always someone to help them, or simply to share with.
