I agree, I am using my smartphone for everything since my notebook died, and when I returned to the university this was an issue, but without money to replace the notebook I should deal with what I have.
Same here and you know what? I am used by it and it works better, in bed, on public transport, in cases of need I always have it at hand. The only thing I never use it for is.... calling.
It's not only a matter of choice and taste. To many it's a matter of finances. You cannot buy if you lack money.
