Indeed, life is not a bed of roses, it never was and never will.
I'm amazed at the strength of beautiful Nadia. She endured everything with so much grace and smiles.
Genetics can be a curse to some. It destroys the hearts of beloved ones.
And talking about you, how courageous it was to sit along her side, a real strength is when you don't give up on people in their sufferings.

Going through an ordeal like this only makes you stronger. It is amazing how you grow not only in person but also as a family.
