The Diary Game - Activities on a Blessed Friday

Hello, good afternoon and happy greetings to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.

For Muslims all over the world, without exception, Friday is a very special day. Friday, the fifth day of the Islamic calendar, is also known as the King of Days or Sayyidul Ayyam. It's not without reason that Friday is considered a special day; it's because many important events for Muslims occurred on it. Among them, Friday is believed to be the day when Allah SWT reunited the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and his beloved wife, Siti Hawa, on Mount Rahmah after many years of separation. Many other important events for Muslims occurred on this sixth day of the Hijri calendar.

As usual, I began my blessed morning routine by waking up before dawn to the sound of the call to prayer. After the morning prayer in congregation at the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque, I took a moment to recite dhikr with the other worshippers. A few moments later, I left the mosque to return home. Then, while lying down with Raffa before leaving for work, I took out my smartphone to update myself with the latest information through various online media. It's so easy to get the latest news in today's digital technology era in just a matter of seconds. However, it takes intelligence to select and sort this information to avoid mistakes.

As I glanced at my smartphone clock, it was almost seven in the morning, Western Indonesian Time, and I quickly got ready to head to the school where I was assigned. The road I was traveling this morning was still relatively quiet, with only a few motorized vehicles visible on the road I pass almost every day. Having been assigned the additional task of coordinating the shift every Friday, I headed straight to school. After taking my fingerprints, I greeted the students who were starting to arrive at the gate with the other teachers on duty. Every Friday, before the teaching and learning process in class, the class begins with a recitation of the holy verses of the Quran.

This blessed morning, we will recite Surah Al-Mulk together. After the Quran recitation, the students were given a short break. Fifteen minutes later, after the bell rang, the teaching and learning process resumed in their respective classes as scheduled. I briefly went out to pick up Raffa from home and take him to daycare. I then performed the sunnah prayer (sunnah dhuha) and kept busy with various school activities. Until midday, I rang the dismissal bell, signaling the end of a blessed day. I also returned home to prepare for Friday prayers at Babul Huda. After prayers, I went out to pick up Raffa from daycare. Then I used my free time to accompany my child to play at home until the afternoon.
