Hi friends, how are you all? I hope you are well

At first glance, it felt like this place was truly different. There was no touch of modernity just pure rural Bengal, surrounded by nature, fresh air, and a peaceful environment.Honestly, being here made it feel as if time had paused. Even in 2026, when every corner of the cities is touched by development, this place has remained in its natural, original form. And that’s exactly why its beauty feels deeper, more captivating.
For a moment, I even found myself wishing if only I had a small place to stay here, I would spend every afternoon simply soaking in this beautiful scenery. There has still been no initiative to build a bridge here. The only way to cross the river is the old-fashioned boat and the boatman. Not just people even motorcycles are transported from one side to the other by boat, something that’s hard to believe unless you see it with your own eyes.As we stood by the riverbank, we watched a motorcycle being carried across on a boat. The scene felt exactly like something out of a movie yet it was completely real.

A little while later, we became part of that experience ourselves. What amazed me the most was seeing an elderly man pulling the entire boat from one side of the river to the other using a rope. If I could present this scene through a video, it would have been even more captivating and beautifully expressed. Unfortunately, due to limited time, I could only capture a few photographs to share with you. No modern machinery just human strength and habit. It was truly an incredible sight!

In the middle of the river, small children were enjoying themselves some diving, some swimming. Watching their pure smiles and joy, it felt like this is what true happiness really looks like. This scene deeply moved me. Compared to the artificial pleasures of city life, this simple, natural joy felt far more alive and meaningful.

Perhaps the most unfortunate part is that such a challenging journey costs so little. The elderly man earns only a very small amount for ferrying people across the river. His effort is immense, yet the payment is minimal. Both of us, along with a motorcycle, crossed the river for only 30 Bangladeshi Taka ,which is approximately $0.2, or around 4 STEEM.Although we made it across, I simply can’t forget the beauty and charm of this place. It still lingers in my mind. I keep feeling the urge to go back again perhaps next time, I’ll step into the water and enjoy it like those children, carefree and full of joy.
I truly hope to return very soon and experience this beautiful place once again.
