"SLC30-W4" // "The Street Food Gastronomic Route" - Broths and Soups.
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. I am also Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah's mercy, doing very well. Today, I have come to participate in the fourth week of this contest, and today's topic was, that is, this week's topic was, a review of a shop selling items like jhol or soup by the roadside. Centering around this topic, I have reviewed a shop. The name of the shop is Sonar Bangla Halim Lotpot and Bhuribhaja.
This is the shop called Sonar Bangla |

If I briefly introduce this shop, I would say that one of the places in Bogura city is Satmatha, and all these shops are located in Satmatha. I have reviewed this particular shop among them. In Satmatha, you can actually see many shops next to Nawab Road. You can see this shop in any way when you come here, and the person in the photo I have given is the owner, and along with him, another employee is standing in front of the shop, as you can see in the photo above.

The shops have several areas where benches are provided along with various chairs so that customers can take the food and eat while sitting. Since these shops are located by the roadside, they don't have any separate covering or shelter, so customers enjoy their food sitting under the open sky. These shops don't have any special facilities, so there are only three types of food available here. Among them are the lentil dish and a haleem-type gravy, and another is a fried dish, a slightly dry type.

These three foods are common in the shop, and as far as I know, in most of the shops like this in Bangladesh, these three foods are prevalent and sell well, and everyone’s demand is for these three items. So, anyway, they sell in this way. Besides, the shop has quite a few other arrangements. For example, there are provisions for extra bowls, spoons, and water, and the shop has a separate arrangement for a pile to dispose of trash. Overall, the shop has quite a few such arrangements. I am presenting some pictures below.

In this shop, I think that as a small shop, the management, quality of food, and how they handle everything were very good. I have shared through pictures for better presentation of the shop, and I have also shared a small video through which you can see more of the shop and its surroundings.
✓ Si logró disfrutar de algún caldo o sopa en este puesto, describa su experiencia. Si no, indíquenos; ¿Cuál sería esa sopa o caldo de los que ofrecen que le gustaría degustar?
I have visited the shop many times before starting my own store. I have been living in this city for many years and have tried different foods at different times. If I share my own experience about this shop, I would say that I prefer to eat haleem at this shop, and I have liked eating haleem for a long time. It is a stew-like dish made with pieces of beef, and they prepare it in a stew style.

They use lentils and mung beans to make the stew, and it tastes delicious. These are sold not only on the streets but also in big hotels. I have eaten this food here, found it delicious, and had a good experience that I have shared and enjoyed.
✓ ¿Cuál es tu sopa o caldo preferido después de una larga jornada y con qué frecuencia lo consumes?
This is a great question, and if I answer this question, then after a whole day of tiredness, I don't eat these. I don't eat any curry-type food or any soup-type food after exhaustion; my only food is some juice or plain water. However, if I answer according to this question, then I would definitely say that in response to this question, I like to eat haleem.
At the end of the night, if I come out for a walk, I would definitely like to eat haleem from the shop by the roadside because it is a curry-type food. And watery foods are not very harmful to the body.
✓ ¿Acompañas tu sopa con algún ingrediente especial (arepa, pan, limón, picante)?
Yes, this is an important question because the answer to this question can vary in different people's systems. Some people like to eat your curry-type dishes or soup-type dishes with various things added. However, what I like the most in these dishes is lemon. Lemon enhances the taste and improves the quality of the food, and it is very beneficial for the body. Therefore, at home, I like to eat these foods with lemon, using lemon juice.
