CineAtlas 60 | Week 5 - Movement Scene | [Bakkhali River- Cox's Bazar]

in Steem For Bangladesh2 months ago

Hello Steemian,

I am starting the fifth week of the 30th episode of the Learning Challenge with greetings and welcome. I am very sorry that I was unable to participate for several challenging weeks in a row. Today, I have made a short film about our Cox's Bazar's Maheshkhali Bankkhali River in the fifth week and have come to share it with everyone. Through this, I will present details about the Bankkhali River. It was possible to take photographs and videos on the way.

Speedboats were plying the river.

Today, I will share those videos and photographs with you, along with the film. Bankkhali River is a river on our Cox's Bazar-Moheshkhali travel route. Another estuary of the Bay of Bengal is the Bankkhali River. Thousands of people move along this river route constantly. The river is the only means of transportation from Maheshkhali to Cox's Bazar and from Cox's Bazar to Maheshkhali.

The shelter projects are very beautifully visible from the river.

There is no limit to the hardships of people travelling on this river route. Especially, people travel by wooden boats and speedboats. In the last two years, a sea truck has been arranged by the government for transportation. Thousands of people cross this sea truck every day. At least the suffering of the people has reduced to some extent, and the transportation fare has been reduced. People can now travel safely from one end to the other. This sea truck can carry 250 people at a time every day. It has the capacity to carry 250 people, which means many people can travel at the same time.

The view from the front when the sea truck started.

As a result, people's suffering has reduced to some extent compared to before. During Eid, I crossed the sea truck with my children. At that time, there were a lot of people, and it was evening when I was crossing. At that time, I took some photographs of the surroundings and recorded a video. I will share this video with you along with some photographs. Sometimes when we travel by river, it is very scary when we travel by speedboat.

But travelling by sea truck takes a little time, but there is no fear. Children are very happy because standing on the sea truck, you can appreciate the surrounding scenery very beautifully. And standing on the river ghat, people do not suffer. Sitting on the sea truck, you can travel comfortably and comfortably, there is no fear of the sun, rain or wind. There is a facility to sit and have tea or coffee, or breakfast. Moreover, there is a washroom facility.

These are the Khurushkul Shelter Project

You can sit comfortably inside, and if you get bored inside, you can stand outside and observe the beautiful scenery. I like everything together. Especially the people are much happier after getting this ferry. You can bring your goods by this ferry, and you can also carry motorcycles from one end to the other. Every year during Eid, the river ghat gets very crowded. This year, due to the provision of the ferry, i.e. the provision of the sea truck, people can travel very comfortably.

This is a very nice facility for the people of the Maheshkhali Island region. The people of the Maheshkhali Island region are very happy because they can travel from one end to the other comfortably at a very low cost. Today I have discussed it in detail with video and photography. I will share the location of the Bankkhali River with you using the Steam Atlas pin code. I hope it will be easy for you to find the location.

Evaluation — CineAtlas 60 (Week 5: Movement Scene)

Post: @samhunnahar — "CineAtlas 60 | Week 5 - Movement Scene | [Bakkhali River- Cox's Bazar]"

Evaluation Summary (Week 5)

Criteria (Rubric /10)ScoreShort Comments
1) Weekly rule respected (Movement Scene + 20–60 sec + required links) / 32.8 / 3.0All key elements are present. The moving boat, river traffic, water flow, and passengers clearly make movement central to the scene.
2) Story clarity & creativity / 21.7 / 2.0The concept is clear and meaningful. The river journey feels immersive, though the storytelling remains more descriptive than cinematic.
3) Video execution (framing, stability, focus, visual impact) / 21.6 / 2.0The river setting gives strong natural motion and atmosphere. Minor deduction because the visuals seem more observational than carefully composed.
4) SteemAtlas pin quality (relevant description + correct location) / 11.0 / 1.0The pin is present with location details, and the place is highly relevant to the movement theme.
5) Presentation (photos, clean structure) / 10.9 / 1.0Good structure, clear writing, and useful supporting photos.
6) Engagement (Shot Breakdown comments on others) / 10.6 / 1.0Engagement links are not clearly visible in the post excerpt, so this requirement is only partially confirmed here.

Final Score: 8.6 / 10

General Comment

A strong and atmospheric Week 5 entry. The river crossing naturally creates a rich sense of motion, and the location works very well for the theme. The post is well presented and meaningful, though the video would feel even stronger with more deliberate cinematic framing and clearer confirmation of the engagement requirement.

Excellent post. I really enjoyed the continuity of your post here. The video you mentioned with the post impressed me. Especially when you captured a moment of high-speed cardboard. You also highlighted the activities of the people on the ship in your video. The place was truly wonderful to share the joy of Eid. I wish you success in this competition.

@jimiaera02 Thank you so much for supporting my post.

Hola.

Buen trabajo. Saludos cordiales.

I love river. Today you have shared a beautiful river for the Movement Scene. There you have Shared every single moment with us so Well. I enjoy it. Thanks a lot for sharing.
