RE: SLC33-W5: My Community, My Story – Festivals, Culture & Traditions
You have written in great detail about the atmosphere of Bishwa Zaker Manzil and the Islamic Jalsa there. The way people gather here in search of self-purification and spiritual peace, leaving behind the material noise, is clearly understood. I think the most wonderful aspect of this event is its discipline and the selfless service of the volunteers. It is not easy to arrange food for millions of people and that too completely free of cost and with a smile. Without any kind of music or external pomp, the scene of everyone sitting on the ground, forgetting the distinction between high and low, eating together, and being engaged in the remembrance of Allah is truly exemplary. Such gatherings play a big role in increasing mutual sympathy and social brotherhood among people. As a common visitor, this spiritual atmosphere of Zaker Manzil and the experience of people's sacrifice that you have highlighted will give anyone a clear idea about this atmosphere. Many people from our area go there every year. Best wishes to you in this contest. 😊
