In Lhokseumawe alone, dozens of these minimarkets have grown and expanded to meet the needs of the community. One Alfamart outlet is located in Lancang Garam, Lhokseumawe City.
Alfamart Merdeka is not very large, consisting of only two doors, a two-story shophouse, but it offers a fairly complete range of daily necessities. Its location is also very strategic, being on the main road leading to the city center, making it easily accessible. It is also close to the Baiturrahman Mosque and various culinary centers. At the Alfamart Merdeka minimarket, various household necessities are available, such as basic necessities, dairy products, toiletries, laundry equipment, snacks, frozen food, baby supplies, general medicines, soft drinks, and various other items.
Alfamart Merdeka also serves coffee, allowing customers to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. They can also top up various cards, including toll cards, and withdraw cash. Membership cards offer substantial discounts. Tonight, after sunset, I briefly went into the Alfamart to shop for Raffa and myself. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the cool air, which made it easier to choose my groceries.
I bought dek Raffa diapers for IDR 82,000 or the equivalent of 78.92 Steem and deodorant for IDR 24,000 or 23.10 Steem. Getting to the shop is also quite easy because various public transportation is available. The parking area for motorcycles is quite spacious and adequate. However, visitors arriving by car will experience difficulties during peak traffic times, as this Alfamart is located on a narrow main road. Overall, the space is very comfortable, although not particularly spacious. The cleanliness and tidiness of the interior and exterior of the minimarket are also well-maintained. This is one of the advantages of this minimarket in ensuring customer comfort.
