I reviewed a vegetable shop located in Hargram Bazar. There are numerous vegetable shops in Hargram Bazar. Retail and wholesale vegetable traders flock to this market to buy and sell vegetables. The vegetable shop I reviewed had a supply of all kinds of raw vegetables. The vegetable shop has a seasonal vegetable fair where you can find some winter vegetables. The hint of winter has descended on nature and the vegetable shops in the raw market are decorated with winter vegetables.

Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Most of the people in this country depend on agriculture. Different vegetables are cultivated here according to the season. There are separate times for cultivating winter vegetables and summer vegetables. A large number of vegetables are cultivated in Bangladesh, so different vegetables can be seen in vegetable shops according to the season.

The vegetable shop I reviewed had a large supply of vegetables such as potatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, onions, gourds, various types of greens, green peppers, capsicum, betel, papaya, radish, bitter gourd, arugula, sweet pumpkin, rice pumpkin, bitter gourd, etc. Among the vegetables I mentioned, there are some winter vegetables, which are not available especially except in the winter season.

Have you ever bought anything from these stores? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.

Yes, I like to buy my daily vegetables from these shops. Because these shops always supply fresh vegetables. Here I get all kinds of vegetables at affordable prices that is why I shop at these shops for buying vegetables. Vegetables are a nutritious menu in our daily diet. Eating vegetables regularly helps us to stay physically healthy. I like to review the vegetables supplied in these shops and buy fresh vegetables at affordable prices.

Apart from the vegetables in the picture above, there were many other vegetables in the vegetable shop. I also recorded a short video along with reviewing the vegetables in the shop. The video will give you a clear idea about the supply and environment, location of the vegetable shop.

How do they manage losses when vegetable prices fluctuate?

Vegetable prices always fluctuate in the market, and during this time, vegetable sellers take various measures to prevent losses. When vegetable prices fluctuate, traders stock a small amount of vegetables to avoid losses. Due to the fluctuation in vegetable prices, they try to procure vegetables from different regions so that if the price increases in one region, the price in another region can remain affordable.

Vegetable shopkeepers sell them at a lower price instead of throwing away cheap and overripe products. Most vegetable sellers buy a small amount of fresh vegetables in the morning so that unsold vegetables do not go to waste. Due to their kind treatment of customers, sales remain stable even though prices fluctuate. They use their plans over time to adapt to the market prices so that they do not have to face losses.

How do they survive when there is a lack of buyers in the market?

When there is a shortage of buyers in the market, vegetable traders, from farmers to wholesalers to street vendors, face serious challenges. Many find creative ways to deal with this problem. They keep the prices of their products low so that buyers are encouraged to buy. When demand from local buyers decreases, sellers try to send vegetables to nearby cities or markets where demand is high. Some supply vegetables to various hotels and restaurants to continue their business.

When customer demand is low, traders buy in small quantities to avoid excess stock. When demand in the vegetable market decreases, many traders temporarily trade in various seasonal products. Many work part-time in the off-season to survive financially. In difficult situations, sellers often share stalls or transport costs to save money. When there is a shortage of buyers in the market, they have the courage to face difficult situations with patience.
