THE DIARY GAME [11/06/2026]:STRESSFUL DAY AT THE SPARE PARTS MARKET.
Hello everyone how was your day, was it good,cool or stressful, well mine fell into the category of stressful. Well my day started with my early morning devotion to My creator, which I does everyday.
After the devotion I had to fasten up few chores at home and prepare for The daily grind.
When I reached at my work place this morning,
I had to gather up some old spare parts sample that I needed to buy in the market and left.
On my way I got a call from a customer to help him check-up on a guy that is repairing his car gearbox, I agreed since I thought it would be a quick routine checkup, not knowing that it would take half of my day, I was still on the car strategizing my moves on the market.
Immediately I dropped from the car I headed straight to the gearbox guy shop, on reaching there I meet him and explained myself to him and why I came and behold he was happy that I came by, so he took me to where he disembled the gearbox and started showing me the faults of the gear.
After seeing everything I had to call the owner of the car to give him feedback, though he didn't understood some of the gear box part that needed replacement that I explained so I had to snap it and send to him via his Whatsapp.
When I checked the time I noticed that I have spent an hour plus there so I had to excuse myself and rush inside the spare parts market to get the things I came mainly for.
When I got to the dealer shop where I would get the stuffs, I didn't meet the owner of the shop but his son who was his assistant, well we greeted and at first I doubted the boy though so I had to call his dad to confirm his location, but the man assured me that his son can fully attend to my needs.
Well I agreed and showed him my lists and to my surprise within few minutes the boy came out with everything on my list, and also he brought two different samples of the products,
Which is the mid-standard goods and the main standard goods with their price differences.
The bargaining was not easy coz he stood his ground on not slashing some of the products prices, while emphasizing that the fuel high price made things to be costly for dem when importing from the manufactures.
After buying the stuffs I headed back to the gearbox guy to check whether he was done with the work but to my surprise he wasn't even half way. I was disappointed to the core and when he saw the frown on my face he assured me that in 10minutes time he will be done which I believed him, the 10mintues turned to an hour.
Because i took a quick nap coz my head was already heated up, and what even motivated me was that he told me he would tap on me in few minutes time when he's done. When I woke up and realized that he had a minor stetback so I had to leave and told him to wellbeing the gearbox when he's done repairing it.
