Rangpur Central Bus Tarminal

1 What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

---

I chose a bus terminal as my service location, and its name is Rangpur Central Bus Terminal. It is located in the Bottola area of Rangpur city. This is one of the largest and most developed bus terminals in the Rangpur division. Many buses from different routes operate here every day, which makes it a very busy and important place for transportation.

This terminal is managed under the Rangpur City Corporation, and it is quite large in size with many modern facilities available. I was really impressed by the environment inside the terminal it looked clean, organized, and modern. There are also proper arrangements for workers to stay, and a large space is available for parking buses. Overall, I found it to be a well developed and nicely maintained terminal.

2 Operational history & Location (Steem Atlas pin)

The Rangpur Central Bus Terminal is one of the oldest bus terminals in the Rangpur division, and it has been operating for many years. In the beginning, it was not as developed as it is now, but over time it has been greatly improved. Especially after Rangpur became a City Corporation, the terminal was modernized and upgraded in many ways. I have been familiar with this terminal for a long time, and whenever I travel to Rangpur, I usually pass through here.

This bus terminal is located in a central and important area of Rangpur city, and it plays a key role in transportation. Buses from here travel to different parts of the country, making it a very busy place. The terminal is built on a large area so that buses can stay organized instead of stopping randomly on the roads. It is located in the Bottola area, and I will share the location so that anyone can easily find it and visit without any problems.

3 What do you like most about the Railway Station or Bus Station while traveling?

I have traveled by both train and bus, and from my experience, I personally prefer traveling by bus. I feel more comfortable going from one place to another by bus because it usually takes less time compared to trains. In many cases, train journeys take longer, and I have often faced problems with train schedules not being maintained properly.

Another reason I prefer buses is that trains can be very crowded since they are a government transport service. Because of this, it can become uncomfortable during the journey. On the other hand, buses usually have less crowd, and the travel feels more manageable and relaxed.

I also like that buses are more flexible. They usually run on time and are easily available, so I can travel whenever I want. Although local buses can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable, overall I still enjoy bus journeys more because they are convenient and suit my needs better.

4 Environmental impact & (With pictures + videos)

The environment of the Rangpur Central Bus Terminal really impressed me. It looked clean, well organized, and much nicer than I expected. When I first arrived, I walked around outside and observed the buses and the overall terminal area. Later, I went inside to take a photo of the main entrance, and I was surprised by how modern and beautiful it looked. The building felt almost like a duplex house, and right after entering, there was a staircase leading upstairs where I saw several rooms for the bus workers and union members to rest.

Inside the terminal, everything felt neat and properly maintained. I am not completely sure if there are facilities for general passengers to stay, but it seemed possible. Overall, I found the place very modern and one of the nicest bus terminals I have seen. Although I did notice a small amount of waste in front of the terminal, it was not too much. So, from my point of view, the environmental impact here is quite low, and the place is mostly clean and not very harmful to the environment.
