Today I am going to share one of my beautiful real-life experiences with you all. A few days ago, I visited Cox’s Bazar for a short tour. After finishing our trip, we returned to Dhaka by train. During that journey, I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Cox’s Bazar Railway Station. Honestly, the station looked extremely modern, attractive, and gorgeous to me. Especially at night, the lighting made the entire station look even more stunning.
What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.
I visited Cox’s Bazar Railway Station, which is one of the most modern and visually impressive railway stations in Bangladesh. The architectural design of the station is very unique and is inspired by the shape of a sea shell.
I arrived at the station in the evening because our train to Dhaka was scheduled to depart around 8 PM. At night, the whole station was glowing with beautiful lights. The environment inside the station was clean and well-organized, and there were enough facilities for passengers.
The station felt more like an international airport because of its large structure, lighting, and modern decoration.

Cox’s Bazar Railway Station is considered one of the largest and most modern railway stations in Bangladesh. It was built to make travel easier for tourists visiting Cox’s Bazar, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
Every day, many passengers use this station to travel to different parts of Bangladesh. The station has become an important transportation hub for both tourists and local travelers.

Beauty of the Station & My Feelings
The exterior design of the station impressed me the most. The massive shell-shaped architecture made the place look unique and eye-catching.
The station looked even more beautiful under the night lights. From a distance, it honestly looked like a modern airport terminal.
Inside the station, I noticed digital guide signs, elevators, and comfortable waiting areas for passengers.
I also liked the seating arrangements and the clean environment. In my opinion, it is a very comfortable place for family travel.
What do you like most about the Railway Station while traveling?
During my journey, the thing I liked most was the cleanliness and modern facilities of the station.

- Bright lighting and good security system
- Clean platforms
- Elevators and digital directions
- Comfortable environment for passengers
Standing on the platform while waiting for the train felt really enjoyable. The cool night weather and the station lights together created an amazing atmosphere.
Environmental Impact & Activities
The surroundings of the station were very clean. I noticed workers regularly cleaning different areas of the station. Passenger movement was also well-managed and disciplined.
Some of the activities and facilities I noticed were:
- Ticket counters
- Digital terminal guides
- Elevator facilities
- Waiting spaces
- Security patrols
- Passenger activities and movements
Outside the station, there were also small gardens and decorative areas that enhanced the beauty of the environment.
Overall, the station management seemed very careful about maintaining cleanliness and providing a good travel experience for passengers.

My Final Opinion
In my opinion, Cox’s Bazar Railway Station is one of the most beautiful railway stations in Bangladesh. Its modern architecture, clean environment, and passenger-friendly facilities are truly impressive.
If anyone visits Cox’s Bazar, I would highly recommend exploring this railway station as well. The time I spent there before returning to Dhaka became one of the memorable parts of my journey.
