*Tilai River*

What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

I visited a well-known river in our area called the Tilai River. It is the only river in Parbatipur and has been connected with the lives of local people for many years. This river plays an important role in agriculture, as farmers use its water for irrigation during different seasons.

Another special thing about this river is that it contains various types of fish, some of which are not commonly found elsewhere. The natural beauty of the river is also very attractive. Both sides of the river are covered with green grass and trees, which make the environment calm and peaceful. That’s why I chose to present this beautiful Tilai River in this contest.

Operational history & Location (Steem Atlas pin)

In the past, the condition of Tilai River was not very good. The riverbanks were not protected, so during the rainy season, even a small increase in water level would damage nearby farmland. This caused problems for local farmers.

Later, with the support of local people and the government, proper steps were taken to protect the riverbanks. As a result, the land is now safer during floods. Different types of fish are also released into the river to increase fish production.

Today, Tilai River is known as the only river in Parbatipur and has become much more beautiful than before. It is now part of an ongoing development process that helps farmers use water for irrigation, especially during the dry season.

Among the Sea, River and Pond which one’s beauty do you like the most?

Among the sea, river, and pond, I personally like rivers the most. Rivers are usually calm and peaceful, with gentle water flow, which I really enjoy. I also like that I can bathe and spend time there easily.

The sea is beautiful too, but I don’t get the chance to visit it often, so I feel less connected to it. Since the river is close to my home, I visit it from time to time. Also, rivers provide fresh fish, which are very healthy and tasty. For all these reasons, rivers are my favorite.

Environmental impact & (With pictures + videos)

A river has many positive environmental impacts. Around the river, different types of trees and green plants grow naturally. During the summer, people come to the riverside to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

People also use the river for bathing and fishing. Farmers depend on river water for irrigation during dry seasons. Many people earn their livelihood through fishing, which shows how important rivers are in our country.

However, rivers also need proper care and maintenance. If rivers are cleaned and restored regularly, they can return to their natural beauty. This will also help reduce waterlogging problems in many areas.
