Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah Dear friends, I hope everyone is well today I will share information about a place with you all according to the topic of this contest and there is a shop in this place which is a very old shop and the location of this shop is next to Basurhat Bazar in Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali district. The location of this shop is next to the road and any visitor can easily reach the shop from the Upazila or from any place in Noakhali by car as the place is next to the road. I went to this place yesterday and stayed there for a long time and today I will share with you all the details and pictures about that place according to the topic of the voice.

2: What tradition, craft, occupation, food culture, or community practice makes this place culturally significant?

You see in the picture, this is a very traditional shop where many old foods are made and along with this there is some art like you see in the picture there are some foods in the box these are made here by hand and along with this I have shared some pictures there are made from bamboo tree which we know people in different places of Bangladesh with different types people catch fish especially with these things. This is what we call Anta in our regional language and in some places they are called bamboo fishing tools. These are made in this shop and this shop is very famous among the people around this area as many old traditional things are made and sold here.

3: How has this heritage been preserved and passed from one generation to another?

I want to say that such traditional works and structures are gradually disappearing but in some places they remain for generations because in our country people learn such works from their seniors like fathers and grandfathers. This is how the Prime Minister remains. Here too, the person who makes these things used to make handmade things from this person before his father and grandfather used to do these works and before that his grandfather used to do these works. In this way, step by step, generation after generation, they are preserving these things. But it is very rare that most people do not keep these works for generations, many change or go to different jobs or change their departments. But this art remains through these generations.

4: How does this living heritage contribute to the local community or economy today?

This life is a tradition that contributes a lot to the local society and economy because such things are not available now and such traditional things are very rare, in that case, because of this shop, they are made here and the people around can easily buy them from here and use them and collect the necessary things from here. In this case, I think that the work and things of this traditional person, food, play a big role in the social economy. 5: What can visitors see, learn, or experience here that helps them understand the local culture and heritage?

By visiting such places, the Dasarathas can first see some of the traditional items that were used by people in the village in the past but are now lost, the traditional work of some people, the traditional food and places, and if they want, the visitors can enjoy them and learn from them. I have visited the place myself and by visiting the place I saw how these people's works are made and how this fishing device is made. Also, they make the food very beautifully and sell it to the customers in their shops. I saw them and it was very nice to see the old things again and see them again. 6: What challenges could threaten this heritage, and what can be done to help preserve it for future generations?

I think that the Islam that I have shared with you, there is no obstacle here that can threaten this tradition, I have not seen any such obstacle and what should be done to protect it for future generations is to value such people and to keep people learning such actions from them, in this way, such traditions will live on for life. And I think this is very important, but I can only say that the one who is currently maintaining this tradition, but after his death, I do not think that anyone else will be able to maintain it, so I think it is very necessary to learn such traditions from such people and make them a reality, since many such traditional things of Bangladesh have been lost, this is important.
