The governor of Nasarawa State has really tried in the state; in terms of development and renovation, I give accolades to the governor for the great job he has so far done in the state.
Where is this place located, how can visitors reach it, and when did you visit it?
This place is located in Akwanga town, close to the market. The particular place where the photos are taken is Ndaha Road. The place is very easy for visitors to locate, as there are four roads from different states that link to this particular place.
To reach this place, you will just have to enter taxis from wherever you're in Nigeria; if you're outside Nasarawa, you will have to enter a vehicle to Nasarawa State, then from there enter Akwanga, which, upon reaching akwan as for Ndaha road which you can trek to the place or enter a motorcycle to the place,e depending on your location. I visited this place on the second (2nd) of August 2025
What is the history of this place, and why is it important to your town or city?
This place was a very bad place before; when the road was bad, people complained about the place because of the muddy and bad road, which usually caused accidents in the place. The place has been in existence for a long time, and people had been praying for the place to be developed; recently, it was commissioned last month.
Today, this place is important to my town because people no longer suffer like before. The road is now very free to pass, with no accidents, and movement is now smoother and easier, which everyone is happy about as such a good social amenity.
How has this place changed over the years, or what evidence of its past can still be seen today?
For the 3 years that I have spent in Akwanga, I pass through the place; the road was one of the worst roads at the start, which today has been changed to one of the best roads in the town through the support of the governor. Before, during the rainy season, onecould nott walk towards this place, but today it is a free place that one can walk across without being splashed with mud.
What can visitors experience or learn by visiting this place today?

Well, as for this exact road, I don't think visitors can learn something from the road, but visitors can learn a lot from the host community. Visitors can learn about the culture and traditions of the people, how to speak Hausa, Fulani, and the native language of the place. Also, visitors can learn about the Eggon and magda tribe, which are the major ethnic groups in the town.
Why do you think this place should be preserved and remembered for future generations?
I think this place should be preserved and remembered for future generations because future generations need to know about the origin of their place, and this place is the heart of the town, the key roads that lead to other states and cities, which anyone who knows about this place can easily direct someone to wherever he or she is going.
