That place is located in Jhenai Kuri Bazar, Union No. 7, Parbatipur Upazila, Dinajpur District. You can easily reach here by autorickshaw or van from Habra Ambari Phuler Ghat Chowpati, Bhabanipur. Since the transportation system is very good, buses and trucks can also easily enter here and transport goods. This market usually starts after 1 pm, so I went there today at noon and I saw the famous chilli trading in this market.

This is the largest pepper market in Parbatipur Upazila. It is located in the inner courtyard of the Islamic Madrasa. Pepper has been sold here for many years, but for the past three to four years, pepper has been sold in the inner courtyard of the Madrasa. Agricultural work is a traditional profession in our country. Pepper sales have made this place more profitable for us. People from different parts of the country and abroad come here to make pepper and our local farmers sell pepper there. This pepper trading has made the place culturally significant.

Since ancient times, the people of our village Bengal have been involved in agriculture and their main source of income is agriculture. Everyone, young and old, in this area is involved in agriculture. Almost all of them cultivate and sell chillies every season. They choose chilli cultivation as their main crop because the price of chillies is high. Ten years ago, their grandfather, then father and now sons cultivate and sell chillies. The main source of the economy of Faridpur Bazar area is agriculture and one of the crops of this agriculture is chilli. The chillies they produce are sent to different parts of the country and trucks are brought from different places to collect this chillies. We consider chillies as the main crop for the livelihood of the people of this area. Although they cultivate other main crops, they do not get the same amount of money from other crops as chillies. Their family's economic balance depends on this agriculture.

Here, when a person comes to sell chili, three to four members of his family come with him and get an idea about selling and buying chili by seeing the chili market. Also, almost all chili farmers buy various types of pesticide products after selling chili. Again, they apply it to the chili fields and increase the yield by applying pesticides to the chili fields. Other members of the family come with their father to apply this pesticide and gain this experience. Later, the younger ones start cultivating chili after seeing other elders in their house.

Farmers in the traditional Motich market face several obstacles. These obstacles put the chilli growers in various problems. They do not get fertilizers at the right time. Sometimes, unscrupulous traders increase the prices of various pesticides by two to three times. In such a situation, farmers often cultivate very less quantity of chilli. To protect it for future generations, various types of fertilizers should be provided and the prices of the products should be stopped from being unbridled.
