Hello Stimian Friends!
Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings and welcome to my competition today. I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well. The topic of the competition I am going to participate in today is---
SLC-S33/W5 | Beyond the Map : The Living Heritage. Today I have come again with a topic of my choice. First of all, I would like to thank my dear brother
@sohanurrahman for choosing a beautiful topic.

I took this picture from in front of the store.
Through which we can be present to share our review of our favorite places with you. In the fifth week of the 33rd episode of Learning Challenge, I will share a detailed review of a sweet shop with you. I am now going back to the main point of the topic --

Sweets from this shop
Where is this place located, how can visitors reach it, and when did you visit it?
The sweet shop that I will share a review of with you today is Tasty Treat. This shop is located in Eidgah Upazila of Cox's Bazar district. First of all, this shop is located at the bus station of Eidgah Upazila. This shop is very easy to reach. This shop is located next to the main road. This shop has a lot of customers. We entered there mainly for breakfast.

We went to my brother's house. On the way back from there, I sat down at Tasty Treat with my kids for breakfast. We had breakfast there. The kids had pizza and also had sharma. We had cake and coffee from there. This shop has the opportunity to reach by rickshaw, tomtom car, bus, motorcycle, or any other vehicle. We got down right in front of the shop with CNG.

My girls were eating breakfast.
Since the shop is located next to the main road, passengers can get down very easily. Moreover, those who are customers have the opportunity to buy a lot of snacks and take the car. They will be able to reach their destination immediately.
What tradition, craft, occupation, food culture, or community practice makes this place culturally significant?
We Bengalis have a tradition that when we start any auspicious work, we start with sweets. When a new guest goes somewhere as a guest, we take sweets there. Be it for an auspicious event, an auspicious work event, or a birthday party. Since Tasty Treat has a lot of sweets, it carries tradition. When we were sitting at that shop and having breakfast, at least 10 people were coming to buy sweets.

Because they were going to other people's houses as guests, they were taking various items of sweets as gifts. There are thousands of sweet shops in our district town and upazila town. Tasty Treat shop is one of them. Their sweets are amazing to eat. Bengalis eat sweets after eating and also eat sweets at the beginning of any auspicious work. We eat sweets at any birthday party or when a student gets good results.

I took a selfie.
This is a tradition in our country. Due to this, the sweets in this shop carry the tradition. The tradition of sweets is prevalent in our society. As such, the importance of this shop in terms of social importance is very high.
How has this heritage been preserved and passed from one generation to another?
Our Bengali tradition is to eat fish and rice in Bengali. Our Bengali tradition is to eat sweets at weddings. To eat sweets at auspicious work. This is being passed down from birth to birth. Like our grandparents, our tribals have been following this tradition. According to that tradition, our grandparents, parents, and fathers have followed this tradition in our society.

| The decoration of this shop is very beautiful. | |
Now we also follow that tradition; that is, it has been handed down from one another and has become a tradition. Every country has some traditions. Whether in the country or in any other country, they have their own traditions. The tradition of our Bengalis is that we are Bengalis with fish and rice. Moreover, we entertain people with sweets at auspicious events, which is our social tradition.

Everything is very neat.
The tradition of our country makes us proud. It was followed by our previous generations, and we are also following it, and our future generations will also follow.
How does this living heritage contribute to the local community or economy today?
This living heritage affects the local community or society as well as the economic situation. Because shops and business establishments operate around this tradition. Because there are sweet shops, especially sweet shops, where there are sweets of various items. Everyone wants to buy good-quality sweets. This is a tradition that has led to the existence of various types of sweet shops.
|
This store also has chocolate items.
Sweet shops in our country affect the economic condition of our local community. Everyone buys sweets from good shops. Those who can afford them buy sweets, and new businesses are being formed day by day. This is affecting the well-being and economic condition of our society and the country.
What can visitors see, learn, or experience here that helps them understand the local culture and heritage?
Visitors will learn a lot by visiting this shop. Because the people of this upazila are very hospitable. This shop sells a lot of sweets. When we were there for a while, at least 10 to 15 customers were coming to buy sweets. Because the people of this Eidgah upazila are very hospitable with sweets. When they go somewhere as guests, they go to that house as a guest for the first time with sweets.

There are various items of bread and buns here.
This is a very valuable social custom for the local people. A custom that they have been following since before and are still following. Visitors will also learn that the rules and regulations of this shop are very nice. They maintain the customers in order. Moreover, the cleanliness and the environment are very nice. Visitors will be able to learn from that too.

There are various items of pizza and burger here.
The quality of the sweets in this shop is very good at a fair price, and all in all, it is a wonderful environment. There is a lot to learn from here. They have very nice facilities for the customers. They can also learn from the way they treat the customers wonderfully.
What challenges could threaten this heritage, and what can be done to help preserve it for future generations?
Our country is now being influenced by foreign influences. Now foreign culture is blending into our culture. Various foreign cultural customs and practices are now engulfing the entire country. This is putting our heritage in jeopardy. Now people eat various types of fast food, which is putting our culture in jeopardy. Earlier, eating sweets was influenced by the culture of the country.

You can see how different things are.
Now it is slowly disappearing with the evolution of time. If we have to protect our heritage from this jeopardy, then we have to come out of foreign culture. We have to give priority to our country's culture. We have to give priority to the country's heritage. Then we will be able to protect this culture from this jeopardy. Because if we want to maintain the customs that our ancestors and our nation have followed.

Tasty Treat is an interesting sweet along with various chocolate items and special food products. I am very happy to see that this particular Tasty Treat shop in Cox's Bazar is very attractive and clean. I also like to eat Tasty Treat with some sweets from the Farmgate area of Dhaka occasionally. However, pizza and sharma are really one of the interesting dishes. Moreover, it is very interesting to highlight the traditions of Bengalis. Thank you for sharing this special post including cultural customs and income and expenditure. I wish you success here.
