Reading the post about the mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali (RA) and the historical importance of Bagerhat, several things came to mind. The feeling of visiting a historical place in person is different than reading about it in the pages of a book. Seeing the graves with grills, the entrance and the minaret of the mosque in the picture, both the silence and history of the place are revealed. In the current era, with the rush of technology, the interest in studying history or visiting such ancient and traditional places is really decreasing among our young generation. However, I think that this place is neglected not only because the local people or the new generation are technology-oriented; rather, the lack of proper publicity and modernization of the tourism system is also a big reason. The way Khan Jahan Ali (RA) came to the region in the 15th century and carried out administrative and social reforms is a great learning place for history lovers. I think it is a good initiative to pin and share such historical places on platforms like Steam Atlas, which at least reaches other people about the local heritage.
